Stay in an ocean view villa in the Maldives, take a hot air balloon ride in Capadoccia, or go on an African safari. Have you taken a few moments out of your hectic schedule to pause and consider your travel purposes?

Sad to say, many people wait until they are sick, retire, or have an experience event to seriously consider all of the amazing places they want to visit before they die. Some people I know are simply waiting for the "right" time to travel.

Let's be real, that "perfect" moment may never come; it's vital to seize opportunities and prioritize these experiences. For far too many people, realizing their travel dreams comes when time has run out. Life is full of uncertainties, and roadblocks will present themselves. There's no promise of good health upon retirement, nor a guarantee of what tomorrow may bring.


So, let's get begin exploring bucket list that will hopefully help you live a more enjoyable and fulfilling life.



  • The Grand Canyon, which is approximately six million years old, is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. This vast canyon, which extends for 277 miles, provides a wide variety of activities.


  • Machu Picchu, Peru: This ancient Incan citadel is located in the Andes Mountains and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South America. The world-famous Inca Trail, a 26-mile stone pathway through the Andes led directly to the mountain peak settlement of Machu Picchu, follows in the footsteps of an ancient civilisation. The four-day hike reaches altitudes of 4,200m and is challenging in places, but it's worth it for the Inca ruins, significant peaks, and the sight of Machu Picchu itself.



  • Yosemite National Park, America's jewel in the crown, is a vast wilderness of plunging waterfalls, deep valleys, magnificent meadows, ancient giant sequoias, and jaw-dropping natural spectacles. Give yourself enough time to explore, as you'll want to stop frequently to take pics of the pretty magnificent scenery.



  • The Northern Lights are one of nature’s most incredible wonders.The Aurora Borealis is the ultimate travel bucket list item, a series of glowing brightly that charge the night sky in pinks, greens, yellows, and purples. Iceland, Norway, Alaska, and northern Canada are all great places to see the Northern Lights.



  • Cappadocia, Turkey, is one of the best places in the world to take a hot air balloon ride.



  • Tulum is a coastal town located on the Yucatan Peninsula in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is situated along the Caribbean Sea and is known for its beautiful beaches, ancient Mayan ruins, and eco-tourism. Tulum has become a popular destination for tourists who want to experience a mix of history, culture, and nature.



  • Split is a coastal city located in southern Croatia, on the eastern shores of the Adriatic Sea. The city is the largest in the region of Dalmatia and is known for its beautiful historic architecture, stunning beaches, and vibrant nightlife. Split's Old Town, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to many ancient Roman ruins and landmarks, including the Diocletian's Palace, which was built in the 4th century and is now a major tourist attraction. The Old Town also features narrow streets, quaint squares, and traditional markets, providing visitors with a glimpse into the city's rich history and culture.



  • Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, on the border between California and Nevada in the United States. It is known for its crystal-clear waters, stunning mountain scenery, and year-round recreational activities.



  • Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire, England, and is one of the most famous and enigmatic structures in the world. The monument consists of a ring of standing stones, each weighing several tons and measuring up to 30 feet tall, arranged in a circular pattern. Stonehenge was constructed in several phases over a period of around 1500 years, between 3000 and 1500 BCE. The stones themselves are believed to have been transported from as far away as Wales, a distance of over 150 miles.



  • Komodo Island is an island located in the Lesser Sunda Islands chain in Indonesia, and it is famous for being home to the world's largest lizard, the Komodo dragon. The island is part of Komodo National Park, which also includes several other islands in the area.




As a once-in-a-lifetime experience, flying over the fairy rooftops should be on your travel bucket list.
